OHRA Liability Insurance
The Dutch insurer OHRA is part of the NN Group, also known as Nationale Nederlanden. With approximately 5 million customers, this financial services provider is the largest in financial products such as insurance, mortgages, investments, or loans. OHRA operates as an insurer under the umbrella of the NN Group. You can contact OHRA for various types of insurance, including health insurance, home contents insurance, or liability insurance. What exactly does the OHRA liability insurance entail?
OHRA Liability Insurance Coverage
Liability insurance is not mandatory, although the chance of accidentally causing damage to another person or their property can be small. Spilling a colourful drink on a carpet, laptop, or curtain, or an accident during your volunteer work or foreign internship, accidental damage can occur in different situations. Not only damage caused by yourself but also damage that your pet might cause to others or their belongings is covered under a liability insurance policy. With such insurance, the sometimes high cost of this damage fortunately doesn’t fall on your shoulders!
If damage occurs, you must contact OHRA to report the damage. The insurer will ultimately determine the exact extent of the damage, sometimes with the help of a damage expert. Up to what amount can you be insured for liability at OHRA?
Coverage | Monthly premium |
---|---|
Damage amounts up to €1,250,000 |
€3.01 |
Damage amount up to €2,500,000 |

The premium is calculated based on a single student aged 20. Not all forms of damage are covered without limits. The following types of damage have coverage restrictions:
